CaFeCONF 2006
Español | English CaFeConf 2006 is the 5th edition of an event carried out every year by CaFeLUG (Capital Federal's Free Software Users Group).
It is an event devoted to spread the word and educate about Free Software, where experts comment on a number of diverse topics concerning Free Software, giving lectures of different levels and covering the biggest amount of subjects possible.
This particular edition of CaFeConf has, as one it goals, to gather around students and teachers of medium level skills and show them the Free Software tools they have at their disposal to acomplish their usual daily tasks. At the same time we'll show them how these tools can interact with their already existing tools. If we can introduce them to the benefits of using said tools, we'll be taking part in a huge step towards the adoption of Free Software in the academic scenario.
Of course that we won't be putting aside tutorials, technical and philosophycal talks, and everything else we've been acostumed to enjoy in previous years.
